Unix Software: Document Processing: LyX
Description
LyX claims to be an innovative new approach to document creation
and typesetting, that it frees the user from thinking about
typesetting and formatting because it handles most of that on it's
own. LyX requires LaTeX, PostScript, and XForms to be available
on your system (all of which are installed on the Geonet Solaris systems).
Location
/usr/site/lyx
Commands
lyx - run LyX.
The first time it is run, it goes through a lenghty initialization
procedure.
