Unix Software: Scientific: IRIS Exporer
Description
IRIS Explorer is a large, powerful data visualization package. It
allows sophisticated 3D visual models to be built and displayed
from virtually any type of data. Many of it's features are
designed to help users with some programming experience and
existing C/C++ or Fortran code into it's own module language.
Most parts of the package are GUI-driven.

Commands
explorer - the
main program, the IRIS Explorer Map Editor.
cxmkmf - make
makefiles for IRIS Explorer modules or types.
cxunshare -
convert shared geometry files to 'regular Inventor format'.
cxupdate - update
IRIS Explorer data/resource files.
dscribe -
DataScribe, a tool for building IRIS Explorer data conversion modules.
makedepend
- make compilation dependencies in makefiles.
mbuilder -
help tranfrom C/C++ and Fortran functions into Explorer modules.
