Unix Software: Math: Mathematica
Description
Mathematica is one of the premier mathematical software packages
existing today. It combines the mathematical typesetting features
of programs like LaTeX, the symbolic solving capabilites of programs
like Maple, and the vast library of mathematical functions and
full-features programming language of programs like Matlab. One
of Mathematica's most useful features is to combine typesetting
with programming to create interactive papers, where executable
examples can be used to illustrate the paper.
