Unix Software: Graphics: IMSL Exponent Graphics
Description
IMSL is a code library package to allow C and Fortran programmers
to have their programs generate graphs, plots, and other vector
graphics. It also provides a large collection of
stand-alone programs for the conversion of image files, both
vector and raster, from one format to another.

Documentation
README for Exponent Graphics

See the individual program manpages listed above for
documentation. There is also an online help facility called
HyperHelp, located at
/usr/site/imsl/bristol/bin/bin.solaris/hyperhelp. You will need
to direct the program to the /usr/site/imsl/help directory after
it starts, or set the environment variable HHHOME to the correct
path, which, as of this writing, the author has no idea what that
would be.

ImageMagick - also useful for
converting images from one format to another.
